How Germany Beat Chile To Win The 2017 Confederations Cup Title

The reigning World Champions beat Chile 1-0 to win their maiden FIFA Confederations Cup title.

It was the much awaited final of the Confederations Cup 2017 and Lars Stindl stole the show with his 20th minute goal with which Germany bagged the title on Sunday in St Petersburg.

Copa America winners Chile continued their attempt for the next 70 minutes for an attack but Germany’s defence was all promosing to make their every attempt a failure throughout the game.

All Chile players failed to breach the young German defence in the promising final of the Sunday.

Though the star players of Chile raised hopes  after beating Argentina in both 2015 and 2016 Copa America finals, this time Germany snatched the winner’s title from the Chileans.

Chile reached the final of the Confederations Cup after they defeated Portugal in Wednesday’s Semi-finals match.
