25-year-old man nabbed for stealing FRSC car in Abuja


A 25-year-old man recognized as Hamisu Tukur has been arrested by law enforcement officials within the Bwari Police Division within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) command for allegedly stealing a car that belongs to the Federal Highway Security Corps(FRSC) Headquarters at Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.


An announcement launched by the FCT Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, says the suspect was arrested throughout a cease and search operation following a misery name by the FRSC.

“In a immediate response to a misery name acquired by the FCT Police Command’s management room, the Command on fifth September 2020 arrested one Hamisu Tukur ‘m’ 25years on the outskirt of Bwari, for stealing a car belonging to the Federal Highway Security Corps(FRSC) Headquarters stationed at SkyMemorial, Wuse Zone 5.

“The fleeing suspect was arrested by the eagle-eyed Police Operatives from Bwari Division throughout a cease and search operation, following name acquired from the FRSC Headquarters by the Command’s management room.

“The displays recovered from the suspect are one (1) white Toyota Hilux-HQ-26RS and a single key.”

The spokesperson stated the suspect will probably be arraigned in court docket upon the conclusion of the investigation.
