Many Nigerians residing in Abuja have been rendered homeless and helpless after Federal Capital Territory Administration-FCTA demolished over 134 homes in Apo Akpmajenya Group to permit for the development of a serious street community within the space.

 

The timing of the demolition has been faulted by Nigerians who condemned the federal government for rendering many individuals homeless at a time when the coronavirus pandemic has made many individuals lose their jobs.

 

 

Many additionally lamented over the demolition because it has left many homeless, particularly as properties value over hundreds of thousands the place destroyed.

 

Some Residents of Apo Akpmajenya Group stated that the Administration of FCTA didn’t notify them earlier than the demolition train, as they needed to scamper round not understanding the place to go along with their households and properties, a few of that are destroyed.

 

The demolition train was coordinated by the Chairman, FCT Ministerial Activity Power on Metropolis Sanitation, Mr Ikharo Attah.
