Chief of the Roman Catholic church, Pope Francis has appointed the auxiliary bishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, Anambra State, Denis Isizoh, into the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.

 

The Catholic bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor made this recognized in a congratulatory message to Isizoh on Tuesday, July 14 obtained by a Punch Information correspondent.

 

He described Isizoh’s appointment as a cheering one, stating that his elevation would result in a number of constructive developments and goodwill to the individuals of God, particularly to the Nigerian Catholics

 

In keeping with him “Bishop Isizoh’s appointment is a sq. peg in a sq. gap. He’s greater than certified and grounded in that space. It’s a acquainted terrain for him.
