APC Wins All 18 Ondo LG Council Election Seats




The All Progressives Congress have been declared winner in all 18 native authorities areas of Ondo in final weekend’s election within the state.


The announcement was made by the Chairman of Ondo State Impartial Electoral Fee, Prof Yomi Dinakin who mentioned the APC received the chairmanship seats in all native authorities areas of the state.


Dinakin revealed that the occasion additionally received 194 councillorship seats out of 198, whereas the leads to the 4 remaining wards have been declared inconclusive.


He defined that there was no contest in 5 native authorities areas throughout the train, including that the APC candidates within the 5 councils have been elected unopposed.

In the meantime, the PDP has described the native authorities election on Saturday as a charade.

In an announcement by the occasion’s spokesperson, Kennedy Ikantu Peretti, the PDP mentioned the native council election was marked with unpardonable brigandage.

In his response, Chairman of APC in Ondo State, Ade Adetimehin, mentioned the conduct of the election was well timed, commending safety companies for making certain security throughout the train.
