A 3-month-old child has died after falling from the primary flooring of the Garki Normal Hospital, Abuja.


Based on Punch, the tragic incident occurred on Sunday.


A safety guard on the hospital instructed The PUNCH that the mom of the child and two others had been on their method to the emergency ward when the incident occurred.


He stated, “A lady together with two others had been on the highest flooring, speeding to the emergency ward, when the child she was carrying, slipped from her grip and fell to the bottom flooring. The child’s neck acquired damaged within the course of and died.”


The Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Adamu Onu, refused to offer particulars of what occurred when he was contacted for remark.


When requested if the matter was reported to the police, the MD stated sufferers had been entitled to their privateness and he wouldn’t disclose any info to this newspaper.

The Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Command, Anjuguri Manza, stated he had not heard concerning the report, including that it was possible that no report was lodged in any police station.
