Bauchi Gov. Suspends Emir Of Misau Over Crisis

Senator Bala Mohammed, the Bauchi State governor, has introduced the suspension of the Emir of Misau, Alhaji Ahmed Suleiman, following the disaster that occurred in Hardawa ward in Misau Native Authorities Space of the state which led to the loss of life of 9 individuals, The PUNCH experiences.

A number of different individuals sustained various levels of accidents within the disaster.

Additionally suspended alongside the Emir are the District Head of Chiromah and Village Head of Zadawa or his consultant.

The PUNCH had reported that 9 individuals have been killed and a number of other others injured on Monday following the disaster that erupted between herders and Fulani farmers in Zadawa village in Misau LGA of Bauchi State.

A number of others sustained various levels of accidents.

The governor had, on Tuesday, suspended the Caretaker Chairman of Misau LGA, Yaro Gwaram.

Suspended together with him are his deputy, Baidu Kafin-Misau and his Secretary, Usman Abdu.

The conflict was over possession of land within the surrounding settlement the place herders are positioned and have been grazing for a number of years though the land belongs to the federal government.

The land was to be transformed to farming land by the native authorities, a improvement that didn’t go down properly with the herders.
