Benue Govt Reveals Date For Resumption Of All Primary, Secondary And Universities In The State

All faculties in Benue state will reopen on Monday, September 21, 2020, in line with the Benue state authorities.

 

Commissioner for Training, Professor Dennis Ityavyar introduced this on Wednesday at Authorities Home Makurdi whereas briefing journalists.

 

He mentioned each private and non-private main, secondary and tertiary establishments are to abide by the directive.

 

He defined that the resumption is for first time period of 2020 and 2021 tutorial session, stressing that third time period for different classes of pupils and college students besides JSS three and SSS three had been cancelled together with cost of faculty charges.

 

“Let me emphasize on the difficulty of faculty charges so there isn’t a confusion as a result of if third time period is cancelled, college charges for the time period can also be cancelled. However within the case of JSS three and SSS three, mother and father are anticipated to pay their third time period charges. Nevertheless, those that haven’t finished third time period, they don’t have to pay charges and this is applicable to non-public and public faculties,” Prof Ityavyar clarified.
