BREAKING: Nine passengers abducted in Ondo, N100m ransom demanded

SUSPECTED herdsmen have reportedly kidnapped 9 passengers aboard a business bus alongside lsua freeway in Akoko South East space of Ondo State.

Consequently, the abductors have demanded N100m ransom from the households of the victims.

The passengers, in keeping with stories had been heading from Abuja to Lagos

A member of the family of one of many victims, Bamidele Ojo who confirmed to newsmen in Akure mentioned that the abductors have demanded the ransom earlier than the victims can be launched.

The victims had been mentioned to be aboard a Toyota Sienna house bus once they had been ambushed by the suspected herdsmen.

They had been reportedly marched into the forest by their abductors after their car was stopped on the freeway.

Contacted, the state police spokesperson, Tee-Leo Ikoro who confirmed the incident, nonetheless, mentioned one of many victims has been rescued.

Ikoro mentioned efforts had been on to make sure the discharge of different victims.

He identified that the police detectives within the state had been working with hunters, native vigilante and different companies to impact the discharge of the victims.
