From Monday, September 7, resident medical doctors throughout the nation will start a strike motion.

The Nigerian Affiliation of Resident Medical doctors (NARD), in an announcement by its President, Dr Aliyu Sokomba; Secretary, Dr Bilqis Mohammad and Publicity Secretary, Dr Egbogu Stanley, stated the strike would begin after expiration of the 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Authorities on August 17.
