Nigeria’s Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo has reacted to the continuing protest towards operatives of the Particular Anti-Theft Squad.


In response to Keyamo, aggrieved Nigerians should be allowed to embark on a peaceable protest over points they really feel aggrieved over.


In a tweet, the minister insisted that peaceable protest was a democratic tradition.

“Peaceable protests by residents to ventilate their frustrations is a part of a democratic tradition. They MUST be allowed to do that with out inhibitions.

“That tradition additionally requires that residents be keen to sit down down after the protests to have some affordable dialog on the problems,” he tweeted.


Previously few days, Nigerians throughout the nation have been protesting towards the illegality and unconstitutional actions of SARS operatives.


On Friday, some policemen had attacked protesters in Abuja with tear gasoline.


Additionally, Saraki’s former aide, Olu Onemola was arrested over his involvement within the protest in Abuja.
