Chinese couple lock up eight Nigerian employees for four months

The police have arrested a Chinese language couple in Abuja for allegedly locking up their Nigerians staff of their condo for the previous 4 months.

Eight home staff had been rescued by the personnel of the Utako Divisional Police Station on Tuesday following a tip-off by a resident, who reported the incident to the Human Rights radio station.

The police raided the residence of the Chinese language within the Jabi space of Abuja and took the unidentified couple and their home staff to the station.

In footage supplied by the Worldwide Centre for Investigative Reporting, the victims mentioned they’d been locked up within the condo since February.

A girl, who didn’t give her title, mentioned the home staff weren’t allowed to maneuver out of the constructing and that the couple refused to permit her to go for remedy when she took ailing.

She said, “Once I was critically sick, I requested these folks (Chinese language employers) to open the gate for me, however they refused till I grew to become very offended earlier than they opened the door.
