Commotion As Gunmen Attack Journalist After Forcing Their Way Inside His House At Night In Nasarawa

The Nation reviews that some gunmen who’re suspected to be armed robbers, on Wednesday, invaded the residence of Nasarawa State correspondent of The Nation Newspaper, Mr Linus Oota.

Oota, who’s a resident of Ombi one Lafia, was attacked round 3am alongside different tenants within the compound.

Narrating his ordeal, Oota defined that out of the blue heard heavy knocks on the door of his condominium by 5 armed males.

In response to him, the lads compelled his door open, entered, and took away his three telephones, laptop computer, cash, sneakers, and wristwatch amongst others.

He additionally acknowledged that the robbers attacked 4 different tenants in the home.

Oota stated he reported the incident to the police, including that he was grateful to God for sparing his life.

Additionally attacked and dispossessed of his belongings was Mr Abubakar Mohammed of Liberty Tv on Sunday about eight pm across the Lavista Restaurant, Ombi one Lafia.

Gadgets collected from him by the robbers have been his cell phone and the meals he purchased from the restaurant.

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ramhan Nansel, stated the command had but to get particulars of the incidents.

He, nonetheless, reiterated the command’s dedication to investigating the matter and arrest the criminals.
