Death Toll In Governor Zulum's Convoy Attack Rises To 30

In line with a report by The PUNCH, the demise toll from Boko Haram assault on the convoy of Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has risen to 30, safety sources stated Saturday.

Two sources advised AFP the variety of fatalities from the assault Friday had doubled as extra our bodies have been discovered and now included 12 policemen, 5 troopers, 4 members of a government-backed militia, and 9 civilians.

The PUNCH had reported that an ambush on the convoy of the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, on Friday left about 15 individuals useless.

The governor’s convoy was stated to have been attacked between Monguno and Baga areas of the state.
