The Kwara Technical Committee on COVID-19 arrested no fewer than 50 individuals within the early hours of Saturday at an evening membership in Ilorin, the state capital, for violating the ban on evening clubbing, PM Information experiences.

The Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee on COVID-19 within the state, Dr Femi Oladiji, disclosed this on Saturday in Ilorin on the state’s quarantine centre the place the suspects had been stored.

Oladiji defined that the operation was led by the state’s Deputy Governor and Chairman of the Technical Committee on COVID-19, Mr Kayode Alabi.

“The deputy governor, accompanied by some safety officers, raided the membership and we arrested so many girls and boys inside the age vary of 20 to 30,” Oladiji mentioned.
