EFCC Issues Official Statement On Magu's Reported Arrest

The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee has launched an announcement following the reported arrest of its performing chairman, Ibrahim Magu.


The assertion reads:



Performing Chairman of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu on Monday, July 6, 2020, honoured an invite by a Presidential Panel reviewing the actions of the EFCC, on the Banquet Corridor wing of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He was served the invitation to the Panel, whereas on his approach to the Drive Headquarters, Abuja for a gathering.

The EFCC’s boss was neither arrested nor compelled to honour the invitation. A member of a authorized staff from the EFCC can be with him on the Panel.
