A younger Nigerian lady has advised of how she was framed for theft by the police, The PUNCH stories.

The woman, recognized merely as Esther, narrated how she spent three years in Surulere Police Division and Panti Police Station for an offence she knew nothing about.

She defined that she was locked up in jail as a 17-year-old lady.

In accordance with her, she was arrested and framed for theft by the policemen.

Recounting her ordeal in a brief video shared by Folu Adeboye, the spouse of the Basic Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Esther stated she was despatched on an errand when the incident occurred in 2010.

She famous that the policemen arrested everybody within the compound, together with herself – who was solely ready to buy dye for her mom.

The sufferer lamented that she was tortured till she unwillingly confessed to collaborating within the theft.

She narrated, “My mom despatched me an errand. She has a provision store. So, she despatched me on an errand to assist her get issues she sells within the store. Esther added that she was later tortured with an electrical shock and stripped bare by the policemen.

Narrating her excruciating expertise, Esther famous that she was tied and couldn’t stand at a degree.

The 26-year-old sufferer added, “From Surulere police station, they took us to Panti State CID. Instantly we bought there, they took us to a employees room. They advised my mother and father to attend exterior that they only wished to ask me some questions. They took me to a different room inside that employees room – an open ground – and so they requested me to undress. I refused as a result of I don’t know why. I used to be tortured with an electrical shock. Once I awoke, I discovered myself bare in entrance of policemen; and so they began torturing me once more.
