The European Union (EU) has stated the removing of Mali’s President Ibrahim Keita by troopers is disturbing.


Recall that yesterday, (Tuesday) some troopers arrested him, the prime minister and different prime authorities officers earlier than forcing them to resign.


On Wednesday, Commissioner for Inside Market, Thierry Breton advised Europe 1 that some journalists reporting to the EU haven’t been in contact.


He stated: “It (the state of affairs in Mali) could be very disturbing. We haven’t heard from a sure variety of journalists. There are severe causes to be involved about what is going on.”


Breton, nevertheless, disclosed that Europe will “push for a democratic and constitutional course of” within the West African nation.


The mutineers say Keita was ousted because of the stress and violence in Mali.
