Ex- Imo State Governor Ikedi Ohakim has been charged with giving false data by the workplace of the Inspector-Basic of Police.

Ohakim was alleged to have “unlawfully used the title of Raji Fashola because the proprietor of the purported land located at Ikeja, Lagos State.

He was additionally accused of giving false data in opposition to one Chinyere Amuchienwa by claiming that she threatened him with a gun.

The cost reads partly;


“That you simply Ikedi Ohakim, on or concerning the 23rd day of Could 2019 at Asokoro, throughout the jurisdiction of this honourable courtroom did unlawfully gave false data in opposition to one Chinyere Amuchienwa, that she threatened you with gun realizing it to be false and thereby dedicated an offence punishable underneath part 140 of the Penal Code Legislation of the Northern Nigeria, 1968.

“That you simply Ikedi Ohakim, on or concerning the 23rd day of Could, 2019, at Asokoro, throughout the jurisdiction of this honourable courtroom did unlawfully gave false data in opposition to one Chinyere Amuchienwa, that you’ve a plot of land on the market at Lagos state, realizing it to be false and thereby dedicated an offence punishable underneath part 140 of the Penal Code Legislation of the Northern Nigeria, 1968.

“That you simply Ikedi Ohakim on or concerning the 23rd day of Could 2019 at Asokoro, throughout the jurisdiction of this honourable courtroom did unlawfully used derogatory the title of Raji Fashola because the proprietor of the purported land located at Ikeja, Lagos state and thereby dedicated an offence punishable underneath part 140 of the Penal Code Legislation of the Northern Nigeria, 1968.”

No date has been mounted for the arraignment of the previous governor.
