 Feminine Staff Allegedly Stripped Bare On Ex-minister, Kenneth Gbagi’s Order Demand N1bn As Compensation

The 4 former employees of Signatious Resort in Warri, Delta State, who have been allegedly stripped bare bare on the order of the proprietor of the lodge who’s a former Minister of State for Schooling, Kenneth Gbagi, have written a letter to him demanding N1bn compensation and a public apology from him.

In a letter drafted by their counsel, Kunle Edun and dated September 23, the 4 staff particularly Mr Victor Ephraim, Gloria Oguzie, Mrs. Valuable Achibong, Roselyn Okiemute Diaghwarhe, stated they have been stripped bare on the orders of the ex-minister due to the guidelines a visitor who lodged on the lodge for 4 days gave to them on his departure on August 20, 2020.

The letter is titled, ‘Trial by ordeal, torture, stripping bare and bestial conduct of Signatious Resort and your self in an organised present of disgrace and animalism: Discover of intention to hunt full authorized redress’. It reads partially

“That after the visitor’s keep, he gave our purchasers the sum of N105, 000 as ideas for the great time that he had on the lodge.

This once more, isn’t uncommon within the hospitality enterprise. That the lodge didn’t lose any cash neither was any alleged to have been stolen.

You instructed our purchasers menacingly that they don’t seem to be entitled to ideas, as all ideas belong to you. As a matter of truth, you categorically acknowledged that they weren’t presupposed to have monies of their accounts so long as they have been working for you.”

In accordance with the letter, the ex-Minister on September 17, forcefully took the victims, one in all whom was a married lady to the lodge warehouse within the presence and help of the armed cell policemen and at gunpoint ordered them “to tug off their garments”.

”The threatening presence of the armed policemen who willingly did your bidding, you directed your son of 15 years previous (a minor) Grasp Egba Gbagi, to movie and take pictures of our purchasers’ nakedness” after which “summoned the opposite employees of the lodge to see the nakedness of our purchasers” the letter learn.

The ex-minister has now been given 5 days to amongst others, pay the previous staff N1bn as compensation and tender an unreserved apology to them.
