"Festus Keyamo Is Not Even A Substantive Minister And He Came Here To Display Rascality"- Ifeanyi Ubah Blasts Labour Minister

Festus Keyamo, Ifeanyi Ubah

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has condemned the actions of Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Kayamo after his faceoff with lawmakers in regards to the NDE recruitment.

The senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District who reacted to the faceoff on Tuesday June 30, stated that the Minister got here to the nationwide meeting to show rascality.

Ubah additional said that Keyamo can be not a “substantive Minister”.

He stated;

“I can converse as a member of the senate committee on media that it isn’t a great factor for an appointee of the manager [to behave that way]. The obligation of the legislature is to checkmate and on the similar time to have an oversight of the manager.

“As a consultant of my constituents, it’s one thing worthwhile for us to request how the distribution of employment to Nigerians is dealt with by an appointee of the manager who shouldn’t be even the substantive minister.

“I felt it’s a very dangerous show of rascality. I don’t know what a senator will likely be doing with a job of N20,000 and N30,000, if to not be sure that it’s given to individuals within the constituency. If these jobs are given to us will probably be shared equally or share of it must be given to senators, we are going to take it again to the individuals we’re representing.

“However giving it to individuals who will go and mortgage it and promote it or hand it to an company that may market it’s completely unacceptable to the Nigerian senate.
