FG Broadcasts Plans To Spend $2.3b On 7,000Mw Energy Technology

The Minister of State for Energy, Mr Goddy Agba has revealed that  the Federal Authorities plans to spend about $2.three billion within the first part of the Presidential Energy Initiative (PPI) venture, aimed toward rising the nation’s energy transmission capability to 7,000megawatts (Mw).

“The Lagos/Ogun Transmission Infrastructure Mission (JICA) with $200 million, Abuja Transmission Ring Scheme (AFD)-$170 million and Northern Hall Transmission Mission (AFD & EU) with $274million,” he stated.
