The Federal Authorities has summoned the Chargè d’ Affaires of the Excessive Fee of Ghana to Nigeria, Ms Iva Denoo, over the demolition of elements of the Nigerian embassy in Ghana, in keeping with a report by Punch.


The information was additionally confirmed on Monday by Minister of Overseas Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama,.


The minister famous that Nigeria had requested the ambassador to provide an “pressing clarification” on the current assaults on residences within the nation’s Excessive Fee in Accra.

Recall that some unidentified armed males attacked the constructing in Accra, the capital metropolis on Friday, demolishing some residences underneath building.

In its response, the Ghanaian Ministry of Overseas Affairs and Regional Integration in an announcement stated unidentified people allegedly breached the premises of the Nigerian Excessive Fee and demolished the property underneath building at about 10.30 p.m.


“The Ministry views with concern this growth which is a breach of the Vienna Conference on Diplomatic Relations.
