Pleasure Nunieh, the embattled former appearing Managing Director of Niger Delta Improvement Fee, is testifying earlier than the Home of Representatives Committee on NDDC on the ongoing investigative listening to on the alleged unlawful expenditure and mismanagement by the fee, The PUNCH reviews.

The investigation of the NDDC had acquired messier on Thursday because the police invaded the Port Harcourt residence of Nunieh.

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who prevented the police from taking Nunieh away, had requested the Inspector Common of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to probe the invasion of the previous NDDC boss.

It was alleged that the invasion was to stop Nunieh from shifting from Port Harcourt to Abuja to testify earlier than the panel.

In Abuja, prime officers of the NDDC, who appeared earlier than the committee had walked out of the venue of the sitting after insisting that the panel Chairman, Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, should step down.
