Following assaults on #EndSARS protesters, the Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki has reacted.


He took to Twitter to sentence the thugs whereas condoling with households of those that misplaced their family members.


He took to Twitter and wrote:


“I’ve simply learnt that hoodlums are attacking #EndSARS protesters, who’ve performed themselves peacefully in Benin Metropolis. I lengthen condolences to the victims of the assault, together with those that misplaced their lives and others who had been injured by the thugs.

It’s disheartening that anybody would assault a peaceable meeting of younger folks, who’re expressing real issues to #EndSARS, police brutality and intimidation in their very own nation.
