A Civil servant has dragged a 48-year-old herbalist, Toyin Dada, to an Okitipupa Chief Magistrates’ Courtroom in Ondo State for allegedly ”planting” charms in his home.

The police charged Dada with two counts of felony and breach of peace.

The Prosecution Counsel, Insp. Zedekiah Orogbemi, instructed the courtroom that the defendant on Sept. 28 round 9. 30 p.m at Apadehin alongside Okitipupa-Erinje Street in Okitipupa magisterial districts allegedly trespassed into the complainant, Babatunde Uninne’s home.

Orogbemi alleged that the defendant additionally carried out himself in a fashion prone to trigger a breach of peace, when he planted charms and mounted his shrine within the complainant’s home, after a gentle argument.

He mentioned that the offence is punishable underneath the provisions of sections, 59 and 249, Legal Code, Cap.37, Vol.1, Legal guidelines of Ondo State 2006.

The defendant, nevertheless, pleaded not responsible.

Chief Justice of the Peace Musa. Al-Yunus admitted the defendant to bail within the sum of N100,000 with one  surety in like sum.

Al-Yunus adjourned the case till Nov. three for additional listening to.
