Hoodlums Go Wild, Kill Policeman At Night At The Boundary Between Rivers And Abia

In accordance with The Nation, a policeman connected to the Federal Particular Anti-Theft Squad (F-SARS) in Rivers State has been killed by suspected hoodlums.

The F-SARS man, whose identification was not established at press time, was kidnapped and killed on Wednesday evening on the boundary between Oyibo Native Authorities Space of the state and neighbouring Abia State.

A neighborhood supply stated on Thursday in Port Harcourt that the anti-robbery agent was on particular responsibility locally when he was kidnapped and killed.

There was hypothesis that he was killed by suspected members of the proscribed Indigenous Folks of Biafra (IPOB) in Oyibo, although The Nation couldn’t affirm it.

The incident sparked rampage by youths within the space, with a supply saying it took the intervention of a mixed workforce of policemen  and different safety companies to disperse the youth. Police spokesman Nnamdi Omoni confirmed the incident.
