"I Warned" - Fayose Reacts As Petrol Price Rises To N151.56 Per Litre

The previous governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose has condemned the rise within the value of petrol to N151.56 per litre.

It was reported earlier that the pump value of premium motor spirit (PMS) in any other case referred to as petrol has been elevated to N151.56 per litre, efficient from as we speak September 2, 2020.

Reacting to this, Fayose recalled how he warned Nigerians. The previous Governor who queried the rationale for the rise, stated the choice was taken when different international locations are adopting measures to scale back the results of COVID-19 lockdown on their residents.

He Tweeted;

“Petrol is now N151.56. The increment was made when different international locations are adopting measures to scale back the results of COVID-19 lock down on their residents.
