Improvised Explosive Device Kills Soldier, Injures Others During Boko Haram Ambush In Borno

A report by SaharaReporters has proven Nigerian Military officer, Second Lieutenant Abdullahi Alhassan, has been killed by Improvised Explosive System throughout an ambush by Boko Haram fighters alongside Maiduguri-Damaturu Highway in Mainok.

Two others sustained numerous levels of accidents whereas a patrol car conveying troops was badly broken. 

SaharaReporters gathered that the troops have been coming back from a rescue operation round 5:30pm on Monday when the car stepped over the planted IED. 

Improvised explosive gadgets and ambushes proceed to pose a serious risk to troopers combating Boko Haram and ISWAP in Northern Nigeria.

Months in the past, two troopers have been killed by IED throughout an ambush by insurgents near Buni Gari below Gujba Native Authorities Space of Yobe State.
