Former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, has made it clear that it’s flawed for courts to determine final result of elections.


He stated elections ought to be determined by ballots and never by courts.


Jonathan acknowledged this whereas talking on The Osasu Present Symposium 2020.


In line with him, digital voting is the one strategy to get to credible elections in Nigeria and the remainder of Africa.

“For elections to be democratic, that implies that the end result of the elections should depend upon the poll, not every other establishment, not even the courtroom.

“If the ballots don’t determine who wins, then we aren’t practising democracy.
