In response to a report by The PUNCH, judiciary staff, below the aegis of Judicial Workers Union of Nigeria, have mentioned they’d shut down courts nationwide on Monday in compliance with the directive by the Nigeria Labour Congress and Commerce Union to embark on strike

The President of JUSUN, Marwan Adamu, advised our correspondent on Friday that as an affiliate of NLC, the union of judiciary staff was sure by the umbrella physique’s directive to Nigerian staff to proceed on strike from Monday.

“The strike will not be JUSUN strike. It’s NLC strike. As an affiliate of NLC, we’re sure by the strike declaration. So, we’re becoming a member of the strike,” Adamu mentioned.

Requested if the Wedneasay’s order issued by the Nationwide Industrial Court docket in Abuja stopping the deliberate strike wouldn’t be complied with, Adamu mentioned, “the order has not been served on us, so the strike is occurring”.
