JUST IN: Boat conveying INEC officials capsize in Ondo [Video]

A ship conveying officers of the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC, has capsized in Ilaje Native Authorities Space of Ondo state.

Within the video seen by Information Direct, officers have been seen attempting to drift as they battle for survival.

As at press time, no casualty has been recorded has rescue efforts has commenced.

Gubernatorial election is at the moment on-going in Ondo state.

Political observers consider that battle over who emerges governor of the state is clearly between incumbent Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress, APC; candidate of the Peoples Democratic Get together, PDP, Eyitayo Jegede, and Agboola Ajayi, candidate of the Zenith Labour Get together, ZLP.

Whereas INEC stated there 1,822,346 registered voters, only one,478,460 PVCs have been collected they usually would be the eligible voters in immediately’s ballot.
