Kidnapped Delta NLC Chairman Regains Freedom

The Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress, Delta State, Comrade Goodluck Ofobruku who was kidnapped  has regained his freedom after paying an undisclosed amount of cash.

The Labour chief who was kidnapped round 8pm on Saturday whereas driving out of his home behind Immigration workplace alongside Ibusa/Asaba street, Asaba, the Delta State capital, was let out on Monday by his abductors.

Confirming his launch to punch correspondent, the Secretary of the NLC within the State, Comrade Harmless Ofoyade, famous that Ofobruku was launched on Monday night time. He stated, Sure, we thank God that our chairman was launched yesterday night time, we’re grateful to the state authorities, the police, vigilante group and all those that present involved.

Ofoyade stated, “ransom was paid however it’s an undisclosed quantity, and as I communicate to you now, he’s receiving therapy as a result of he was injured on the course of”

Additionally, the Commissioner of Police within the state, Mr Hafiz Inuwa confirmed the NLC chairman launched, including that he was not conscious of any fee of ransom.

“We give glory to God for his launched, to the very best of my information, no quantity was paid,”
CO stated.

The police boss careworn that the command was intensifying efforts to arrest the suspects.
