18 inmates of Kirikiri Medium Safety Custodial Centre had been on Tuesday June 30, granted freedom by Lagos Chief Choose Kazeem Alogba.

The inmates who’ve been in custody of the centre since 2016 for offences akin to stealing, housebreaking and fraudulent conversion had been launched following directives from President Muhammadu Buhari and Chief of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad to heads of courts.
