Man Seen On The Road Staging A Lone Protest Over Increase In Fuel, Electricity Tariffs In Ibadan (Photos)

A person was on Thursday seen reverse the College of Ibadan staging a one-man protest towards the elevated petrol worth and Electrical energy tariff.

He was seen carrying a placard that learn  “I can’t take this anymore, elevated petrol worth and Electrical energy tariff”

An eyewitness who noticed the one-man protest wrote on Twitter “Noticed this one-man Protest reverse the College of Ibadan.

” I can’t take this anymore, elevated petrol worth and Electrical energy tariff”

You’ll recall that on Wednesday, the Petroleum Merchandise Advertising and marketing Firm, a subsidiary of the NNPC, had elevated the ex-depot worth of the PMS to N151.56 per litre, with entrepreneurs saying the product can be offered at between N162 and N165 per litre.

The electrical energy tariff was additionally elevated to N66 per kwh beneath the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its authorities.

This has, nevertheless, brought about indignant reactions from involved Nigerians.

Lawmakers, in an announcement by the Minority Chief of the Home of Representatives, Rep. Ndudi Elumelu, on Wednesday condemned the rise, describing it as “unacceptable as it’ll lead to a rise within the already excessive price of client items and companies, and worsen the present financial hardship being suffered by Nigerians”.
