Man United transfer news LIVE: Bellingham to snub move and join Dortmund, new kit leaked, TWO friendlies today

Manchester United’s third kit for the 2020/21 season has been leaked.

The strip features diagonal black and white stripes and is described as ‘dazzle camo’ by Footy Headlines, who revealed the kit online.

Birmingham City starlet Jude Bellingham has reportedly decided to join Borussia Dortmund over Manchester United.

Bellingham, who turns 17 at the end of the month, is one of the most highly-rated youngsters in English football and he’s been attracting interest from across Europe.

United have been pushing hard for Bellingham, inviting the starlet to their training ground in March with his parents where he was met by Sir Alex Ferguson, the club’s legendary former manager, along with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and transfer negotiator Matt Judge.

However, according to Sport Bild’s Head of Football Christian Falk, he has now decided on a move to the Bundesliga rather than the Premier League giants. The report states Dortmund have ‘won the race’ for his signature.

Falk told Utd Report: “The strong clubs in the Bundesliga, behind Bayern, offer talented English players a chance to play, even internationally. Bellingham will therefore also go to Dortmund, not United. You will see. Our information is that he has chosen Borussia Dortmund.”

Dwight McNeil has been told by his dad to snub interest from top clubs and stay at Burnley for now.

The England Under-21 ace has been linked with a return to Manchester United, where he was in the academy, as well as Leicester and Crystal Palace.

But McNeil Snr said: “He’s doing really well. It would be best for him to stay put at the moment and go that way.

“That’s instead of him going to a top team and just sitting there and getting drip fed into it.

“He’s got to keep working hard and listening to his manager and coaches. “I believe with improvement he can be good enough for the top teams.”

Ole Gunnar Solskajaer’s side are ramping up their preparations for the Premier League’s return by playing TWO friendlies on Friday.

The Red Devils were due to play Stoke on Tuesday but that was abandoned at the last minute after boss Michael O’Neill tested positive for coronavirus.

To get his players match fit, Solskjaer’s side will play West Brom twice at Old Trafford on Friday.

United’s first game back is a trip to North London on June 19 where they face Tottenham.

Corentin Tolisso’s agent has rubbished rumours of an imminent move to Manchester United.

The Red Devils have been linked with a £31million bid for the Bayern Munich midfielder.

Bad news for United fans, though, as it looks unlikely to happen at this stage.

“I’m not having any talks with Manchester United,” His agent Eric Castagnino told Sky Germany. “Corentin is currently injured and his return to the pitch is currently a top priority.”

The Red Devils are reportedly eyeing a move for Ferran Torres.

According to CalcioNapoli24 via Sport Witness, United are are one of several clubs considering a move for the 20-year-old.

Man City and Liverpool have also been mentioned as possible destinations for the Valencia star.

The winger has impressed in LaLiga this season and has four goals and four assists to his name.

Former Rangers loanee Umar Sadiq has been linked with a move to Man United.

The Partizan striker could be Old Trafford bound, according to Serbian media outlet Telegraf.

He scored 17 goals for Partizan this season after an initial loan move from Roma was made permanent.

The 24-year-old made just four total appearances for Rangers in 2018 without scoring and the loan deal was not renewed.

Dele Alli will miss next Friday’s game between Tottenham and Man United.

Alli has been slapped with a one-game ban by the Football Association for a social media post mocking coronavirus.

Alli posted a video on Snapchat in early February, before the pandemic took hold, making fun of an Asian man in an airport before promptly deleting the post.

He was charged on February 26 with misconduct and his case has finally been heard, with the FA handing out a one-game suspension, meaning he will miss next Friday’s clash with Manchester United.

The England international has also received a £50,000 ban and been made to attend an educational course.

An FA statement read: “Dele Alli has been suspended for one match with immediate effect, fined £50,000 and must undertake a face-to-face education course following a breach of FA Rule E3.

“The Tottenham Hotspur FC player denied that a social media post breached FA Rule E3(1), as it was insulting and/or improper and/or brought the game into disrepute, and constituted an “Aggravated Breach”, which is defined in FA Rule E3(2), as it included a reference, whether express or implied, to race and/or colour and/or ethnic origin and/or nationality.

“However, it was subsequently found proven by an independent Regulatory Commission.”

Bruno Fernandes wants to carry on where he left off for Man United when the season resumes.

The Premier League returns next week following a three month absence due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Red Devils looked reinvigorated before the season was halted with Fernandes the main difference following his January transfer.

United get back to action on June 19 when they face Tottenham.

“I am looking forward to starting again like we finished,” Fernandes told United’s official website.

“Maybe doing better than we did. I think it’s very important and the first game for us is a good opportunity to look forward to doing very well to finish the season.”

“I miss football and I miss the pressure before the game.

“It’s going to be strange, playing without supporters, but we have to adapt. At least we can compete with other teams and, hopefully, can start well.”

Borussia Dortmund will demand £115million for Jadon Sancho in the summer amid interest from Man United.

Sancho has been a star in the Bundesliga this season and has 17 goals and 16 assists to his name.

United have been linked to the England international but he will cost an eye-watering £115million, according to the Telegraph.

Man United fans are being given the chance to have their picture in the crowd when football returns to Old Trafford.

All Premier League games will be played behind closed doors as the season resumes next week.

The Red Devils are giving some fans a chance to appear on a special mosaic that will be featured in the stadium.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a new offer for Ansu Fati after seeing an £89million bid rejected.

Barcelona will only let the forward go if his £151.5million release clause is met.

Sport claim United are ready to submit a new offer but it is unknown what that figure might be at this stage.

Paulo Dybala has confirmed Man United and Tottenham wanted him last summer.

The Juventus ace appeared close to joining Spurs but instead remained in Turin – something he wanted to begin with.

“I was contacted and some clubs were interested in me,” said Dybala. “Among those were Manchester United and Tottenham.

“I think for a long time there were conversations, then Paris Saint-Germain also appeared.

“I did not speak directly to any of them, but there were conversations with the clubs. However, my intention at the time was to stay.”

Man United have started negotiations over the £31m signing of Corentin Tolisso.

The Bayern ace has been playing in Germany for the past three years having joined from Lyon in his homeland, but he could leave this summer.

The Red Devils have been eyeing a new holding player, and Tolisso is only 25 so represents a long-term solution.

He is available for only £31m this summer, but Tolisso has faced numerous injury problems over the past few years.

Victor Osimhen, the Lille striker wanted by Man United, is set to make a decision on his future.

Osimhen, 21, scored 18 goals in his debut season with Lille and has caught the attention of Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and United.

Lille are allegedly demanding £75m for the highly-rated forward, and he will soon make a decision on his future having been contacted by all the English clubs.

Chelsea chiefs reportedly believe Jadon Sancho will join Manchester United this summer.

Sancho is one of the most in demand players in European football, and a return to England this summer is expected.

He has been linked with a host of Premier League giants, including Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool, but it appears the Red Devils are in the driving seat.

According to ESPN, the Blues are monitoring Kai Havertz as an alternative to Sancho as they believe the England international is set for a switch to Old Trafford in a deal worth up to £120m.

RB Leipzig are determined not to let Man United target Dayot Upamecano go for free as he enters the final year of his current deal potentially opening the door to a summer move.

Chief executive Oliver Mintzlaff said: “Upa is an extremely important player for us and one of the most sought after talents in this position in Europe.

“One thing we know is that we have a very clear understanding with him and his adviser, that we will not let him go free. We cannot afford that as a club.

“So there are two options: extend or change. I am absolutely certain that we will know relatively quickly which direction we are going.”

England boss Gareth Southgate has discussed the development of Jadon Sancho and what his future could hold.

“He’s a very talented young player – that’s clear. The Bundesliga is getting a lot of profile at the moment but it’s no surprise to us,” Southgate said.

“I think the interesting challenge is that Bayern [Munich] are the best team in the Bundesliga; RB Leipzig and Dortmund are performing well but the gap when you then work down the league is an interesting one when you compare it to the Premier League.

“The top teams have certainly been a challenge for English teams in the Champions League but the level I don’t think is quite the same in Germany in terms of the depth because the finances aren’t quite the same.

“Any step for Sancho is going to be a challenge but he’s developing really well.

“If I look at his age and his contribution, he’s learning the game, he’s slowly maturing – there are bits he’s still got to learn – and he has some fantastic role models in Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford, not only in terms of how they play but also their professionalism, their desire and hunger.”

Ajax star Donny van de Beek has received a ‘proposal’ from Manchester United, according to reports.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are keen to secure the 23-year-old’s signature ahead of Real Madrid.

According to Marca, the Red Devils have stepped up their pursuit by making a proposal to Van de Beek.

Real were believed to be readying a £49million summer move for the Dutch midfielder but that has been hindered by the financial complications of COVID-19.
