A video has captured the moment Kaduna residents stormed the Central Bank of Nigeria annex office in the state to deposit their old N500 and N1000 notes.
Recall that on Thursday, February 16, President Buhari in a nationwide broadcast extented the validity of the old N200 notes till April 10 and that the old N500 and N1000 notes cease to be legal tenders.
Like the CBN advised in the past, the President stated that anyone with the old Naira notes should proceed to CBN offices to deposit them.
A video shared online shows a crowd in front of the CBN annex in Kaduna state attempting to deposit the old Naira notes.
