NECO Releases 2020 Timetable




The Nationwide Examinations Council (NECO) has launched the timetable and tips for the conduct of its 2020 examinations for Senior Secondary three college students.


This was made public by NECO’s Registrar/Chief Govt Officer, Professor Godswill Obioma on Tuesday throughout a press convention on the Council’s Headquarters in Minna, the Niger State capital.


His briefing is tagged, “Making the Conduct Of Public Examinations Work within the COVID-19 Period.”


This comes two weeks after the Federal Authorities launched a complete schedule for varied nationwide examinations for exit lessons together with Junior Secondary Faculty (JSS) three and Senior Secondary Faculty (SSS) three.


The Minister of State for Training, Chukwuemeka Nwajuiba, who made the announcement on July 29 in Abuja after a collection of conferences with chief executives of examination our bodies within the nation revealed that NECO examination will maintain will begin on October 5 and finish on November 18.


In keeping with him, the Nationwide Enterprise and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) examinations will begin on September 21 and finish on October 15.

“Different particulars of the schedule point out that the Senior Secondary Faculty Certificates Examinations, for SS3, carried out by NECO will begin on October 5 and finish on November 18, 2020,” he mentioned.


He defined that the Fundamental Training Certificates Examinations (BECE) for JSS three college students, additionally carried out by NECO, will begin on August 24 and finish on September 7.
