The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has promoted three,548 employees to reinforce effectivity in service supply.


The affirmation was given by the NIS Public Relations Officer, Service, Sunday James in a press release on Sunday.


James quoted Muhammad Babandede, the Comptroller Normal, NIS, as directing all of the command places of work nationwide to launch the promotion record with speedy impact.


The CG stated that the promoted employees have been from the ranks of Immigration Assistants as much as Inspectors of Immigration.


He congratulated the personnel and disclosed that they have been promoted for onerous work, self-discipline and loyalty.


Nonetheless, Babandede has inaugurated the Ahead Operations Base (FOB) on the Kwara State Command of NIS, to spice up border patrol towards unlawful immigrants.


Babandede famous that the FOB at Okuta space of the state was the 13th of such base in Nigeria.
