Nigerian Army Sends Message to Protesters, Supports Buhari

Nigerians protesting all around the nation have been instructed to desist from it by the Nigerian Military.

 

Recall that the #EndSARS protest has continued for nearly the 10th day as Nigerians protest towards police brutality and extortion.

 

A press release by the Performing Director, Military Public Relations, Col Sagir Musa, whereas supporting President Muhammadu Buhari, mentioned the democracy of Nigeria can be defended at “all value.”

 

Stressing that the Military was loyal to President Muhammadu Buhari, Musa mentioned they’d, “take care of any scenario that have an effect on Nigeria decisively.”

 

In line with Musa: “The Nigerian Military needs to reassure law-abiding residents that it’s extremely dedicated to the sustenance of peace, safety and defence of democracy in Nigeria.

“As a accountable and law-abiding organisation, the NA reaffirms its unalloyed loyalty and dedication to the President, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari and the Structure of the nation.

“The NA hereby, warns all subversive components and bother makers to desist from such acts because it stays extremely dedicated to defending the nation and her democracy in any respect value.”

 

The Military’s menace is coming on the again heel of the continued protests towards police brutality.

 

Nigerian youths have been protesting towards the unlawful operations of some police items.

 

The protest had led to the dissolution of the Particular Anti-Theft Squad, SARS, and the institution of Particular Weapons and Techniques Crew, SWAT.
