A Nigerian physician has been reportedly brutalized by Nigerian troopers in Delta state.

The troopers suspected to be hooked up to the three Battalion Nigerian Military, Effurun, Delta State, on Saturday allegedly brutalized the medical physician and ordered him to swim and bathe inside a gutter filled with soiled water.

Chairman of the NMA within the state, Emmanuel Nwose, who confirmed the ugly incident, condemned in its completely the act, saying that the affiliation had since briefed the state governor of the event.

He mentioned, “Dr Raphael Onyemekehia, a guide doctor, reported to us that on his strategy to work, he was confronted at Airport Junction, Effurun, by some unidentified troopers that he has violated the state authorities curfew imposes by the state governor.
