Nigerians Mock Minister For Using Jet In Aerial Assessment Of Kainji Dam Flood

A lot of criticism have continued to path using a jet for the aerial evaluation of Kainji dam by the Minister of humanitarian affairs, catastrophe administration and social growth, Sadiya Farouq.

The Ministry in a tweet posted on Thursday mentioned the minister flew over the dam to evaluate the impression of flooding on the banks of the river.

“Yesterday, HM @Sadiya_farouq flew over the Kainji dam for an aerial view and evaluation of the impression of the flooded banks.”

Reacting to the submit, Nigerians faulted using a aircraft for the task, arguing drone would have performed a greater job.

Japhet Omojuwa tweeted in response, “Think about if scientists found one thing referred to as drones. They’d have been far cheaper, safer and would have had a real aerial view than an entire flight the place you truly don’t get any aerial view. What for those who used a copter? Whoops! They haven’t been found too.”
