Mrs Zainab Ahmed, the Minister of Finance, Funds and Nationwide Planning has disclosed that the nation’s income has dropped by about 65 per cent.

She stated this necessitated the choice of the President Muhammadu Buhari to discontinue the cost of petrol subsidy.

Ahmed stated this on NTA’s ‘Good Morning Nigeria’ programme on Monday.

The minister acknowledged, “What we’ve been doing shouldn’t be sustainable.
