Ogun Govt Issues New Order To All Secondary School Teachers In The State




The Ogun State authorities has given new directive to all secondary college lecturers within the state to renew on Monday, August three forward of the West African Senior Secondary Faculties Examination (WASSCE) scheduled for August 17.


The Particular Adviser to the Governor on Main and Secondary Schooling, Mrs Ronke Soyombo, gave this directive in Abeokuta on Friday.


Soyombo quoted Gov. Dapo Abiodun as saying that the purpose was to allow the lecturers to work with their principals in preparation for college kids’ resumption on August four.


Abiodun stated the directive was for lecturers in private and non-private faculties to allow them to help within the distribution of supplies offered by the state authorities for the examinations.


He stated all tips stipulated by the federal government for the scholars’ resumption had been to be adopted strictly by all college directors.


He enjoined all stakeholders to cooperate with the state authorities to make sure a secure return to varsities.


“The Ogun state authorities needs to tell most of the people that each one Senior Secondary College Three college students each in private and non-private faculties will resume college on August four in readiness for intensive revision courses forward of their WASSCE.

“The revision train is being put in place to cowl the tutorial gaps and lapses for college kids that would not comply with the digital courses tagged Ogundigiclass put in place by the state authorities whereas they had been at residence.

“The involved college students are to renew their particular person faculties on Tuesday, August four,” he stated.
