Oh No! Pregnant Woman Gets Shot Dead In Ikorodu Cult Clash

In line with a report by The PUNCH, a 35-year-old pregnant lady, Risikat Saliman, was shot useless throughout a bloody conflict between suspected cult teams at Aleke group in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

It was gathered that dozens of suspected cultists invaded Aleke group market round eight p.m. and began taking pictures indiscriminately, killing the lady on Thursday.

“Her corpse has been launched by the police and was taken to Ikorodu Basic Hospital mortuary in preparation to move her to her residence city in Kwara State,”
he stated.

Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos State, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the killing, stated that the cult conflict was between “Aiye and Eiye” confraternity.

He added that policemen have restored normalcy to the world whereas the matter had been taken to the State Felony Investigation Division, Panti, Lagos.

“The girl was killed by a stray bullet when the 2 rival cults of ‘Eiye’ and ‘Aiye’ engaged one another in a supremacy battle.

“The Commissioner of Police within the state, Hakeem Odumosu, has zero tolerance for cultism. Cultism breeds numerous different crimes wherever they exist,” he added.
