A dealer has been reportedly killed by a tray bullet in Enugu state when a mob tried to steal COVID-19 palliatives.

The looting of COVID-19 palliatives turned tragic in Enugu on Saturday, October 23 after the stray bullet allegedly fired by safety operatives hit and killed a younger man who sells gas.

It was gathered that after information unfold that COVID-19 palliatives have been housed at Queen’s Secondary faculty situated inside WTC property, residents stormed there in try to loot meals objects.

Safety operatives stationed on the faculty reportedly fired pictures to disperse the gang. A stray bullet hit the younger dealer.

A store proprietor within the space mentioned that the deceased was not a part of the mob that tried to interrupt into the college.

A graphic video posted by eyewitnesses reveals the deceased gasping for breath earlier than he handed away.

Sen. Chijinke Ugwuanyi confirmed that the WAEC corridor of Queens School had as soon as served as warehouse for COVID-19 palliatives.
