Oh No!! Stray Bullet Kills UNIPORT Final Year Student Returning From Church In Delta

A 500-level pupil of Electrical Engineering, College of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Nzete Ogochukwu Patrick, has misplaced his life after he was hit by a stray bullet in Ogume city in Ndokwa West native authorities space on Sunday, August 16.

In accordance with studies, Nzete was on his means residence from church when he bought hit by a stray bullet following renewed hostilities in a communal conflict inside his neighborhood.

His colleagues and associates have taken to social media to mourn his demise.

Inyiama Vivian wrote;

It’s so painful u left us in dis closing stage of ur battle.

So disheartening dat am typing Rip as a substitute congrats bro.

U had been an excellent buddy and a superior to me .

A man with a uncommon gem.

We are going to miss u a lot Ogo.

Engineering college will miss u.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering division will miss u.

One other colleague, Victor Osadebe, wrote

”Shocked and saddened to listen to the demise of a brother and buddy; nonetheless can`t consider you are no extra.

Comr. Nzete Patrick Ogochukwu,

You touched lives, impacted constructive modifications and left behind unimaginable legacies. its disheartening to be typing this.

We misplaced an excellent buddy, however the universe acquired a brand new lovely star. My condolences to the household.

On Monday, August 17, college students below the aegis of the Nationwide Affiliation of Nigerian College students (NANS), Nationwide Affiliation of Polytechnic College students (NAPS) and Nationwide Affiliation of Delta State College students (NADESSTU) in Delta state, staged a protest over Ogochukwu’s demise. They known as on the state authorities to make sure the police investigates Nzete’s killing and apprehend the culprits.
