Osun Governor Commiserates With Oyo Counterpart Over Mother's Death

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun has commiserated together with his Oyo State counterpart, Seyi Makinde, over the dying of his mom, Mrs. Abigail Makinde, who died on Thursday on the age of 81.

In a press release by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan in Osogbo, the State capital, Oyetola described late Mrs. Makinde as a pillar who had left behind the legacies of service and good character.

He stated the good values the octogenarian left behind would function a guiding gentle not solely to the bereaved household but in addition to the individuals of Oyo State and humanity at giant.

The assertion reads partly: “On behalf of the individuals and Authorities of the State of Osun, I sympathise with my brother, Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State, over the passing of his mom, Mama Abigail.

“Mama lived an excellent life whereas she was with us. Due to this fact, we should take solace in the truth that she left behind a long-lasting legacy by her kids and people near her.

“There isn’t any denying the truth that she lived a lifetime of service to God and humanity; and her exemplary life, we’d proceed to cherish.”

Oyetola prayed God to grant the deceased everlasting relaxation and the bereaved household, the federal government and other people of Oyo State the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
