Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has acknowledged that the Justice Benjamin Iheka-led Fee of Inquiry on Contracts awarded between 2011 and 2019 within the state solely indicted former governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha.

The Governor stated the fee didn’t indict another former governor of the state as falsely reported by some information media.

The fee submitted its report back to Governor Uzodimma on Monday, indicting the Okorocha regime and saying it uncovered fraudulent contracts value over N106 billion which the regime ought to be made to refund.

The governor stated the fee’s investigation lined the award of contracts through the interval of Okorocha’s administration from 2011 to 2019 and never 2006 to 2019 as erroneously reported by some newspapers.

He clarified that former governors Achike Udenwa and Ikedi Ohakim should not indicted in contract rip-off, asking numerous media homes which have already reported so to refute it.

The governor urged the general public to discountenance the report because the probe interval didn’t lengthen to their regimes.
