The suspect

One Oluwatosin Abowaba has been arrested for allegedly being the chief of a gaggle accountable for stealing of motorbikes in Mowe and Ijebu axis of Ogun State.

Abowaba was arrested by the Ogun State safety company, the So-Protected Corps.

In a press release on Friday, the Spokesperson of the So-Protected Corps, ACC Moruf Yusuf mentioned the State Commander of the Corps, Soji Ganzallo, had few weeks again “ordered the Redeemed Division of the corps to make sure that this infamous robber be apprehended and transfered to the close by jurisdiction of Nigeria police instantly.”

In line with Yusuf, the suspect is alleged to have concerned in numerous instances of stolen bikes in each Mowe and Ijebu axis.

Abowaba, Yusuf mentioned, had been talked about by a gang of “apprehended criminals,” in police custody.

He mentioned the gang claimed that he (Abowaba) used to obtain any stolen bike, whereas aiding in promoting identical to patrons.

“The gang additional confessed that the suspect, Abowaba is the kingpin that used to efficiently take each bike stolen in Mowe for Ijebu-Ode on the market,”
Yusuf knowledgeable.

He mentioned, “The So-Protected Corps, Redeemed Division, with correct intelligence gathering methods, efficiently acquired the crime suspect Oluwatosin Abowaba (a.ok.a Maja), who has been declared needed for one crime or the opposite by the Ijebu-Ode and Mowe Divisional Police Headquarters, arrested at Olowotedo, Mowe at about 06:00hrs on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.”

Gadgets recovered from him are “cutlass, cleaver knife, iron rods, a crow bar and completely different charms he could also be utilizing to assist the weapons.”

It was gathered that the suspect has been transferred to Mowe Police Divisional Headquarters for additional investigation and certain prosecution.
